Overview

Koshi Mini Yantra 2.0 was a regional technology and robotics event in Koshi Province, organized through Robotics Association of Nepal with Pi Innovations as a local implementation partner. The event combined public programming, robotics activities, and discussion-based sessions for students and early builders.

My contribution was broader than one design deliverable. I supported the event through graphic design work for Robotics Association Nepal, assisted overall event operations, helped with the robotics competition environment, and supported the operation and live streaming of the panel discussion Bridging the Gap of Today's Market Demand and IT Graduates in Nepal, which also involved Students For Liberty.

Role

I worked across both visual communication and delivery support for the event.

  • Designed banners, certificates, and event-facing visual materials for Robotics Association Nepal.
  • Created certificates and supporting print assets for participants and event use.
  • Helped maintain a consistent look across materials connected to the event.
  • Assisted the overall operation of the event and the robotics competition environment.
  • Supported the panel discussion operations, including the live streaming side of delivery.

Execution

The work had to hold together across multiple layers at once: visual identity, on-site logistics, robotics competition support, and live session execution.

  • Prepared visual assets for physical event spaces rather than only social media use.
  • Balanced sponsor, organizer, panel, and event information within usable layouts.
  • Supported multiple event components, including demonstrations, competitions, and the panel discussion session.
  • Assisted with the operational flow of the robotics competition so activities stayed coordinated on site.
  • Helped support the panel discussion's live delivery, including streaming-related assistance during the event.
  • Coordinated design output around the event timeline so materials were ready when needed.

Outcomes

The work helped give Koshi Mini Yantra 2.0 a stronger public-facing presentation while also supporting the practical side of running a live technology event. The combination of design, operations, competition support, and live-session assistance made the event environment more coherent and usable for organizers and participants.

For my portfolio, this project matters because it shows an early version of how I work best: not only making materials look right, but also helping the event actually run. It combines graphic design, operations support, robotics-event coordination, and live discussion delivery in one project.
